I’m sure you have all seen them. If you haven’t today’s wedding trend is going to feature a collection of short wedding dresses from several designers that where seen in the recent bridal fashion week. From Marchesa to Monique Lhuiller tons of designers showcased snippets of bold wedding dresses for the nontraditional bride. I first stumbled upon photographs of short wedding dresses through Pinterest and I have to say I love the unique untraditional allure of a short wedding dress. I’m sure people have opted for short wedding dresses before but there’s eye opening appeal when you see it on the runaway once again.
Growing up I always thought I would have a strapless gown with a long bridal veil and train. But as new trends emerge…that original thought has been tweaked over the years. These style of dresses have opened my eyes to step outside the norms and into the endless boundaries of creativity.
