So where does the color royal blue originate, how is it associated with being royal or better yet where does it come from?  Yes, these are all questions I found myself thinking when I started researching inspiration for this inspiration board. First the color royal blue as seen on the optical spectrum, can be found between violet and green. Blue has come to be known as the royal color through research taken over the years. In the U.S and other countries blue has been associated with faithfulness, consistency, and togetherness. Blue has been widely used throughout history in the form of art and literature.

  1. love this color palette! i had a bright yellow barn wedding, and i think i would choose similar colors for my baby shower 🙂

    • Bright yellow barn wedding sounds amazing, was it hard finding ideas for your wedding? I think these colors would be great for a baby shower it’s gender neutral with the two color palettes, their not to bold to sway for one gender.
