I first stumbled upon this collection while on Pinterest, and immediately became blown away by the free spirit ambiance throughout this collection. Each piece beautifully captured by Olivia Malone Photography, in Death Valley California, exudes a sense of whimsical charm, that can greatly accentuate any bride who chooses to wear these gowns.
One of the beauties behind this collection is how Mara tells a story through each photo. You greatly become overwhelmed by the brides peaceful calm spirit and let’s face it it’s quite contagious. Any individual who steps outside of the boundaries in creativity is someone I admire.
In her interview with Vogue Mara noted..
“In the past, I’ve made a couple of custom wedding dresses for special friends who I felt confident I could make feel beautiful on such an important day. Eventually, I decided I wanted to do the same thing for my customers, too.”
When asked which type of women would wear her collection, she expressed the following,
“My bride probably isn’t someone who will spend a year and a half planning what she’s going to wear. I imagine her running off to Tulum, to the desert, or getting married under a canopy.”
