Gender Reveal! It’s A….

Now that I am 24 weeks along today I wanted to announce some pretty fantastic news on the blog. Me and my husband have officially found out the gender of our bundle of joy who will be arriving this summer. Recently we had a pretty humorous gender reveal photo-shoot with our dog Buddie  captured by a Marvin, a partner of my photography team, at Charmaine Joe Photography. To say it was difficult to get an over the top hyperactive dog to pay attention longer than 5 seconds is an understatement, but there were many laughs along the way so this shoot was pretty successful.

So I guess it’s gender reveal time and I’m beyond thrilled to announce…. IT’S A GIRL!!

I couldn’t even believe the news when my new ultrasound tech revealed the gender to me and Joe. I’m pretty sure I gasped pretty loudly because I  thought I was expecting a boy throughout those past 20 weeks.. pretty much to the point where I would bet my life on it haha.

Boy was I wrong..

But much to my surprise, mothers intuition failed me on that one, and somehow landed in my husbands favor who always thought we were having a girl long before we found out the gender… Joe if your reading this YOU WIN…;p

Honestly I feel pretty overjoyed and blessed knowing i’ll be a mom to a little girl in just a few short months and graduating college all in the same month:) Tomorrow I have another doctors appointment and i’ll be sure to post some updates on the blog on the babies progress, nursery design, and preparations for labor.
