Just as the temperatures seem to be dropping around the U.S it seems fitting to be showcasing a cozy rustic winter elopement with gorgeous details set at a private residence in the Poconos of Pennsylvania from JESSICA OH PHOTOGRAPHY. Today’s real couple Marine and Shaun had been together for 9 years once they realized they wanted to tie the knot. For all of you guys who are running on 9 years and counting don’t stress getting hitched your time shall come when the moments right. And for those of you who are running on 1 year and can’t seem to wait any longer take the proposal into your own hands… and don’t say you heard that from us haha.

Honestly guy’s I can’t say how much today’s elopement brings a smile to my face and it’s not just because there’s a hot chocolate bar that is a must see….

Okay let’s face it anything with a hot chocolate bar is shear perfection…

Together Marine and I designed a tablescape and hot chocolate bar. We incorporated our shared love for woodland creatures and the forest by showcasing our favorite animal pieces as the centerpiece. Vintage thermoses served as vases for the berries, pines, dried lotuses and brush. We also skirted the lines of Christmas theme by adding vibrant reds, greens, to the palette but breaking it up with deep yellows and navy blues. Each palette is thrifted local shops and the table was built from salvaged wood and an old kitchen table stand.
