Rustic Outdoor Vintage Wedding

Salena and Ryan’s outdoor vintage wedding showcases everything we cherish here on Rustic Folk Weddings and that’s family, love, and happiness. On their wedding day Salena and Ryan were surrounded by their two adorable small children, family and friends. And just by looking at these gorgeous images captured by  Stefania Bowler Photography there’s no doubt in my mind that these two had been surrounded by that and so much more on their wedding day which was held at the Ferry Island Campground in Terrace B.C. The setting of the couple’s wedding ceremony couldn’t have been anymore beautiful set in the middle of a forest surrounded by rivers and mountains in Terrace British Columbia Canada. Their wedding was designed around a beautiful rustic theme which featured wooden barrels, horseshoes, and birdcages designed with hydrangeas. After looking at these photos you’ll easily be able to see the joy these two share in a heartbeat.

Salena and Ryan have a great love for the outdoors, so naturally they wanted their wedding to be in the middle of the forest surrounded by their closest friends and family including their two small children. The couple got ready with their two children making it extra special. Salena had the vision of a rustic setting which included burlap, white linens, homemade benches for her guests to sit on, birdcages filled with gorgeous hydrangeas and little bird nests filled with eggs. The ceiling centre piece in the reception hall was handmade by the bride and groom along with all the wood slices on the tables. Instead of the regular clinking of glasses for a first kiss guests used horse shoes. Being Portuguese there was an extravagant desert table filled with all the cakes you could possibly think of. The bride and groom put a lot of work into their wedding and it shows! The bridal party is wearing attire from Le Chateau, makeup and hair were done by one of the brides good friends and flowers were designed by Lara Roldo from Fiori Designs in Terrace B.C.
