Bohemian Engagement Session

When a bride-to-be knows she wants a bohemian themed engagement session that exudes a festive and breezy ambiance one would imagine the groom and photographer would do whatever it takes to make that happen right.. Well can you imagine what it would feel like being a part of an engagement session in 20 degree weather! Yes well today’s vibrant couple knows that all too well because this is the story of how their gorgeous bohemian engagement session came to life. If I could put all of my favorite things into one shoot, it would look a lot like Chelsey and Randall’s engagement session. Actually, it would look exactly like it! Golden sunshine, bohemian style, a floral crown, and a whole lotta love. You probably aren’t going to believe me when I tell you this, but it was about 20 degrees on New Year’s morning when she shot these photos. I am serious! Chelsey knew she always wanted a light and airy bohemian feel to her engagement photos and she was willing to shiver a bit to make it happen!

Randall, you are a trooper for agreeing to do this! You’ve made all of your fiance’s dreams come true! We had some dreamy golden morning light, I was in heaven! These two were probably getting so tired of hearing me squeal about the light, but just wait until you see these! Gah! Good lighting is what makes an image and I couldn’t have asked for any better light on this day. Just beautiful! What made this session even more wonderful is just knowing Randall and Chelsey and the incredible couple that they are. These two have been dating for over 5 years and they simply go together. He is the perfect compliment to her, and she to him. They have the best personalities and are so joyful to be around. I love these images especially because you can truly see their joy and love for each other- even in freezing temperatures.
