Jessica & David McVey got married on July 27, 2013.  They are a sweet couple from eastern Colorado who are now in graduate school in Missouri.  David and Jessica are down to earth, sweet, kind and loving people.  It was evident that on that day their focus was not only to have a good relaxing time, but also to be fully invested in making sure that their guests and vendors had a great time also.  We were asked on several occasions by the bride and her family if were doing okay and if we wanted something to drink and eat. The wedding took place at Casey’s Lumber…..  As the name suggests it is a lumber yard located in Woodland Park, CO.  A few years ago the owners of Casey’s Lumber, daughter was going to get married.  They wanted to make this day extra special so they created and built a barn specially for her to get married at.  Since they already had a spectacular place for a reception and ceremony, they started advertising it to other couples who are getting married.
In addition to the space to the ceremony and reception site, they have a lovely and quaint area for the Bride to get ready right in the upstairs of their home. Their home is located just yards away from the barn. We took photos of Jessica and her bridesmaids in this lovely part of the house.  A detailed room with antiques, mirrors, photos, flowers and bed made the perfect setting to take photos of a lovely Bride getting ready.   The Lumber yard also makes for great photos.  I took some of the guys in this area, it was a unique and masculine setting.   And as you can imagine the rest was history folks…….. As you look through the photos you will see just how much detail and planning Jessica did for this wedding.  The flowers, the favors, the cake (which her and her sister made) and all of the details made this day extra special.  I hope you enjoy looking through these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them and experiencing this day with them.   The beauty of  wedding photography is it’s ability to draw a timeline of the couple’s day, it’s ability to capture those memorable teary eyed moments you never want to forget, and most importantly it has a way of telling a couple’s story without words that can’t be duplicated. This statement couldn’t speak more volumes for how amazing Bio Photography Studios photographed Jessica and David’s wedding day.
