I can’t believe 2015 is actually here. 2014 is and will probably forever be one of my most memorable years. Why? Let’s see… I graduated college, opened Rustic Folk Weddings Etsy Shop, started newlywed life with my longtime boyfriend of 3 years, I became pregnant and soon after a mom to my little daughter Elli and honestly I couldn’t have imagined how much more incredible life is when you’re a mom and you have someone that depends on you to be there every step of the way. Sorry to get sappy on you folks but honestly life is just amazing and I thank God everyday for these blessings I’ve received this past year.
I hope all of you guys had an incredible 2014 as well and are excited for everything that is to come in 2015.
In light of today being January 1st I wanted to feature a really special wedding for you guys today that steps outside of the rustic weddings usually publish on the blog. The moment you guys see this blush mountain wedding you’re honestly going to FALL IN LOVE with the details and the scenery all photographed by Melanie Bennett Photography. This wedding shoot took place in the Canadian Rocky Mountain at Crescent Falls, Alberta which you can see after viewing these images is a breathtaking place. Blush, violet, purple, and mahogany reds are just some of the colors that were beautifully intertwined throughout the florals, tablescape, wedding cake and brides bouquet. The wedding cake which was topped by blue and red raspberries was created by Lindsey’s cupcakes and cakes and looks absolutely scrumptious. There’s just something about lightly frosted cakes that I absolutely love. Honestly guys I could go on and on about the things I love about today’s mountain wedding inspiration but who wants to hear me ramble….
Yep, I didn’t think you guys did so I’m just gonna let the pictures do the talking!
