Their love started on a bus when they were in elementary. He always wanted to sit by her on their way to school.
We stood out in the trees on a warm summer night and he told me about how he loved her heart, I started to cry. This is a love story that I’ll never forget filming.
She said “ I started riding his bus in about 4th or 5th grade and that is how we got to know each other, on the bus in 5th grade … and… he always tried to sit by me..”
Their love story blossomed from “puppy love” as they called it to serious dating, when they were 16. As time went on Melinda never pressed Treyton for an engagement and when they talked about it he said not till they were “like 35” so she didn’t expect it when it came!
