Monique & Josh: Colorful Rustic Wedding

There’s one thing I love about weddings and that is truly being embraced by the warmth and love of the couples being married. Today’s wedding features a gorgeous bride named Monique along with her handsome beau named Josh. This New Hampshire wedding was captured by Our Labor of Love in such an impeccable way! Instantly when you view these photos you’ll see love, from the wedding party’s upbeat charisma, down to the photos of the animated children filled with excitement how truly happy everyone is about coming together and sharing a blissful time of a marriage.

Josh and Monique had been together for about six years before he proposed to her in El Bolson, Argentina during their vacation. After being newly engaged, finding the right wedding location proved to be a big challenge since the couple wanted to have an otudoor wedding that showcased their love to travel and nature. Eventually they settled on this beautiful place in New Hampshire called Rockywold-Deephaven Camp.

Once the location was settled, it was all about the details. Monique’s family is from Haiti, so she knew she wanted to incorporate a wide array of Creole cuisine from stewed broth with rice to a variety of poultry dishes. The bulk of the food prepared at the wedding was done by Monique’s mom and her friends, however, they did also include a caterer. In addition, the Josh knew a friend who owned a bakery shop, who also provided a variety of appetizing treats.

Before their big day, there were weather reports of a high chance of rain, but that didn’t put a damper on this couples mood they were going to happily embrace the weather that was to come, and Monique decided to pack a pair of rainboots just in case the clouds wanted to dance on her big day. On the day of the wedding, even with a little rain the couple’s wedding outshines beyond a question of doubt.
