When Lauren went to go try on dresses, the one she ended up choosing was nothing like what she had originally wanted. She wanted a straight lace dress with short sleeves and the back cut out. She picked a dress that she was just trying on for the fun of it and ended up falling head over heels in love with it.

Lauren’s dad passed away when she was in 3rd grade. When Terry asked Lauren to marry him, he gave her a ring that had so much sentimental value to her. The diamond in her ring is from the diamond that her dad gave her mom when they got engaged. She wanted to add one more thing to incorporate her dad in her big day, so she topped off her dress with a heart sewed underneath it from a T-shirt that she remembered her dad wearing a lot when she was younger; It was perfect! There’s no doubt that Lauren’s dad was with her and helped give her away at her wedding. Her wedding day was everything she ever dreamed of and was the best days of her life.
