I am so thrilled to be bringing you what I feel like is the first film engagement submission onto the blog. Today I have a beautiful sunset river film engagement session photographed by Katie Jean Photography.
Every since I was a little girl I have always been fascinated by cameras and just only within the past few years have learned about the wonders of film photography. Katie Jean Photography captured today’s featured couple Alyse and Matt with such a unique style near a river at James River Robious Landing. As you can tell by browsing these photos there is an alluring moody atmosphere to the photos and that is exactly how Katie’s photography style is. She even shot this beautiful session with her dad’s vintage 35mm Pentax.

We spent the night exploring the forest, playing in creeks, and ended with a dip in the river.
Honestly guys this film photoshoot is absolutely magical and who doesn’t like to end a photography session with a dip in the river. I mean I wouldn’t mind that at all.
