Today I am starting a new series of inspiration boards called The Pick a Flick Wedding Series that is going to be geared towards featuring a variety of movies and television shows I love and have become captivated by. The purpose of this new series is to inspire brides who not only love watching great cinema but it’s about showcasing ways in which a bride could incorporate a particular movie theme into her big.
The first time I saw Pirates of the Caribbean I instantly fell in love with Johnny Depp’s character Captain Jack Sparrow. There’s just something remarkable and witty about how he is always able to get himself out of the most ridiculous situations. When I think of the ways to incorporate a Pirate of the Caribbean soiree into a wedding design I instantly think of black lace, treasure chests, red pumps, over the top elizabethan fashion, and big tousled updos.
