Summer Ranch Rustic Wedding

There’s nothing quite like your first date and just wait till you read where Casey took Mikhal on their first date.. it’s so sweet. There’s just something I love a little more about weddings and that is hearing how couples met. I think it’s safe to say Casey knew exactly what he was doing when he planned the location for the couples first date.

Today’s summer ranch rustic wedding was photographed by Creatrix Photography and no details were spared or left behind. The bride Mikhal and groom Casey decided to tie the knot at King River Ranch. Toast Entertainment provided the event planning and entertainment services. The bride’s makeup was beautifully done by Blushd Beauty and catering was provided by Pok- E- Joe’s .

Special Details

When planning a wedding I think it’s so important to incorporate some personal touches throughout your big day to make it feel more personalized and uniquely yours. I love how the bride incorporated the blush pink bridesmaids tumblrs throughout this ranch rustic wedding.

Here’s a little more information from the couple on how they met provided by Creatrix Photography

Casey and I met at the apartment complex that I worked at and we both lived at. He had actually met my mom first and she had tried to do the whole, set us up thing, but Casey being Casey just thought that she was just showing pictures of her family. My mom had said, “he is just your type, big muscles, tattoos, and he even has a bible on his dash!” It wasn’t until a few months later until we actually met. I had been working there for about 3 weeks and all I heard about was this Casey guy. All the girls in the office loved him and said if they were single they would be trying to date him. I didn’t usually trust people when they try to set me up with people because not everyone has the same taste in men.

The day I met him, I thought to myself (as my jaw dropped) “uhhhhh yea I could hang out with him”. We went on our first day just a few days later. We didn’t have any set plans but he had told me to just come over to his place and we will figure it out. I was so nervous I grabbed two beers out of the fridge, walked to his place, and when he opened the door I handed one to him and immediately opened mine.

We decided to grabs some beers and “go for a drive”. Little did I know, he was taking me to, what he said was one of his favorite spots. As he turned onto a gravel road with overgrown trees, we were driving for a few minutes when I looked at him and asked if he was kidnapping me. I mean he wouldn’t tell me where we were going and his truck barely fit on this tiny road and we just kept driving deeper into the woods. It turns out that it is the only place he knows that is quiet and you can see ALL the stars. The rest is history
